Harry and Meghan drop hint Archie and Lilibet will soon make first public appearance

Part 1 of 2

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have brought joy to their fans with the release of their 2024 Christmas card, featuring a rare and heartfelt glimpse of their children, Archie and Lilibet. Many believe this gesture hints at a potential public appearance for the young royals in the near future.

This year, the Sussexes chose to surprise everyone by including a rare photograph of their two children—the first time Archie and Lilibet have been seen in years. The charming image shows the siblings from behind as they run towards their parents, capturing a tender family moment. The photo also includes the family’s three dogs, adding to the cozy holiday vibe.

In the picture, Meghan is seen smiling at five-year-old Archie, while Harry crouches to greet three-year-old Lilibet, who, like her older brother, sports vibrant red hair. Fans were quick to note how grown-up the children appeared, and some speculated that this could signal an upcoming public appearance.

A Hint at a Family Outing?

A source previously revealed to the Express that Archie and Lilibet might attend the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games in Vancouver next February. If true, this would mark their first public appearance.

Speaking about the event, set to take place on February 8, the source shared: “Harry and Meghan are planning to take Archie and Lilibet to help promote a new ‘family-friendly’ Invictus Games.

“The Sussexes have been heavily involved in organizing the Vancouver Whistler Games and were instrumental in making this a family-friendly event so participants could bring their children along.”

If Archie and Lilibet do attend, it would represent a significant shift for Harry and Meghan, who have been deeply committed to preserving their children’s privacy.

Balancing Privacy and Public Life

Earlier this year, a friend of the Sussexes explained to People that Harry’s reluctance to show his children publicly stems not from secrecy but from a desire to protect their safety and allow them to live as normal a life as possible.
