Angelina Jolie turns heads with daughter Zahara as her Golden Globes date

Part 1 of 2

The Maria star has been nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama and shares her daughter with ex-husband Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie is making a significant return to acting, and she’s including her six children in the journey, with her eldest daughter joining her for the season’s first major awards event.

The 49-year-old actress graced the red carpet at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, accompanied by her daughter Zahara Marley Jolie.

Zahara, now 19, has supported her mother at several events tied to Angelina’s latest film, Maria, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama.

Both mother and daughter donned nature-inspired outfits. Angelina wore a breathtaking gown adorned with crystal tendrils that wrapped around her, reminiscent of roots. The semi-sheer dress hugged her waist, and she paired it with her hair down and droplet earrings.

Zahara chose a white dress featuring a black pattern resembling tree branches, accented with small crystal embellishments. She completed her look with an elegant up-do.

Earlier in the week, Zahara also accompanied her mother to the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards, where they wore contrasting black and white dresses. Angelina was honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her role in Maria and paid tribute to her six children in her acceptance speech.

“There was Maria, and there was Callas; Callas was loved, but Maria was often alone,” she said. “But I’m here today because when I leave this stage, I’m more myself thanks to you, Zahara, and your brothers and sisters. I love you.”
