My Parents Stole My Dream Wedding Venue for My Sister but My Grandparents Had My Back

Part 1 of 2

The day my sister took the wedding venue I had always dreamed of, I felt crushed. But my grandparents had other ideas. With one bold move, they turned everything around and proved what real family support looks like.

Hailey always got what she wanted. Our parents made sure of it, putting her first every time. I had learned to live with it.

Then, my boyfriend proposed. Right after, Hailey got engaged too.

Everyone knew how much the Rosewood Estate meant to me—it was where my grandparents married, where I spent summers, where I dreamed of my wedding. But Hailey? She didn’t care. She just wanted to win.

She rushed to book it, just to spite me. And, of course, my parents sided with her.

“Stop being dramatic,” Mom scoffed.

“She booked it first. That’s life,” Dad added.

I was devastated but didn’t argue. Instead, I visited my grandparents, dropping off their medicine. When I told them, Grandpa just smirked. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. We already took care of it.”

I blinked. Grandma squeezed my hand. “She may take everything from you, but not this time. We booked it—for you. A month before Hailey’s wedding.”

The next morning, Hailey and my parents stormed into my house. “HOW COULD YOU?!” Hailey screamed. “YOU STOLE MY VENUE!”

I was about to respond when the front door opened. My grandparents walked in.

“Hailey wasn’t the first to book it,” Grandma stated firmly. “We did. For Emily.”
