
A 12-year-old girl who had been missing for over a day has now been located safely.
Gracie, from Blurton in Stoke-on-Trent, was last seen on Sunday at around 2:20 p.m. near Ingestre Square after leaving her home earlier that morning at 11:30 a.m.
Police launched an urgent search after she failed to return home that night. Thankfully, authorities have since confirmed to Metro that Gracie has been found.
At the time, Staffordshire Police issued a public appeal:
“We need your help in finding 12-year-old Gracie, from Stoke-on-Trent.
Gracie left her home in Blurton at 11.30am on Sunday 6 April and was last seen on Ingestre Square at around 2.20pm that day.
She is described as being 5ft tall and having shoulder length mousey brown hair.
It is believed that she may be wearing black leggings and a leopard-print top.”
Gracie is known to frequent the Blurton area, where many of her friends live.
Ingestre Square, where she was last seen, is located about three miles southwest of Stoke-on-Trent city centre.
