Both vinegar and baking soda are easy to find and work well against mold.

• Mix vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio, add a pinch of salt, and boil the mixture.
• Use a paint roller to apply the vinegar solution to the moldy areas. Scrub with a brush until clean.
• For baking soda, mix it with water (1 part baking soda to 5 parts water). Apply with a paint roller, scrub, and wipe clean.
• Use a fan to help dry the walls.

4. Soap and Hydrogen Peroxide

For heavy mold, use a soap solution or hydrogen peroxide:

• Mix soap and water (1:3 ratio) and scrub the moldy spots with a brush. Rinse with water and dry with a fan.
