A kitten who was found rummaging through trash has taken the internet by storm for her undeniable “supermodel” looks as she shows off her alluring looks that even Tyra Banks would be proud of.

After being spotted going through trash cans in December 2021, it is easy to assume that Luna the rescue cat would have looked ragged and weary. But in fact, her appearance has always been quite the opposite, as her owner Benny told Newsweek that they joke about her supermodel appearance all the time.

Luna is very accustomed to being in front of the camera and indeed she’s more than happy to strike a pose or two. Benny couldn’t resist sharing several pictures of his stunning cat on Reddit (user u/Keter_class_Kamy), posting the images on the r/SupermodelCats subreddit.

Needless to say, the internet can’t get enough of her exquisite looks and the post went viral with over 26,000 votes in just a couple of days.

Benny, of Palermo, Italy, said: “She was in a ranch where kids ride horses, she was spotted going through the trash by my little cousins who fell in love with her. Around two weeks after that, we adopted her. The area has a lot of cats nearby, so I don’t think she was abandoned, just looking for food.

“She settled into our home immediately, and she’s really docile and affectionate. At this point, I don’t think she minds the cameras because I take a ton of pictures of her, so she’s pretty much used to it by now.”

It’s estimated that Luna was only around 4 months old when she was found, and she is now about 3 years old. In that time, she’s become a huge part of the family and is more than happy to let any friends or family come by and pick her up. She’s not afraid of a little extra fuss from any guests.
