“It is. You’re my wife.”
“It’s not real.”
“But I care.”
At a gala, Rebecca took another jab. “You’ve adapted so well, Sarah.”
Before Sarah could answer, Thomas wrapped an arm around her. “She’s stronger than you ever were.”
The room froze. For once, this wasn’t performance—he meant it.
That night, Sarah whispered, “You didn’t have to defend me.”
“I did. And I always will.”
Then, everything changed.
Two pink lines. Pregnant.
Fear, surprise, joy. How would Thomas react?
“I’m pregnant,” she told him.
Shock. Silence. Then, “I’ll take responsibility.”
The news stirred something in him. Revenge felt hollow now. This child—this life—meant more.
But Rebecca wasn’t finished. At a party, she sneered, “Looks like Sarah knew how to secure her place.”

Thomas didn’t flinch. For the first time, she couldn’t touch him.
Then came the scandal. The contract was leaked. Sarah, humiliated, packed her bags.
“I need to protect my child and my dignity,” she said.
Thomas was left alone—facing the cost of everything.
One rainy day, he found her.
“I was wrong,” he told her. “You changed everything. I want something real. I want you.”
She hesitated. “This won’t be easy.”
“I don’t expect it to be. But I want to try.”
He stepped back from work, showed her he meant it. Slowly, she began to believe.
One evening, she found a note: “Please come tonight. It’s important.”
The garden had been transformed—flowers, soft lights, Thomas waiting.
“This is where you entered my life,” he said. “Let it be where we start again.”
Tears fell. “You hurt me… but maybe we can try.”
Months later, Sarah, visibly pregnant, rested beside Thomas in the blooming garden.
“You’re more nervous than I am,” she teased.
“I just want to do it right,” he said.
Their son, Nathan, was born soon after. Holding him, Thomas felt something new: happiness without ego.
Sarah launched her own landscaping business. Rebecca faded into memory.
One day, walking through the garden, Nathan in his arms, Thomas smiled.
“It’s not about the flowers,” he said. “It’s about what they stand for.”
And together, they bloomed.
