Donald Trump reacts to Taylor Swift being booed at Super Bowl by crowd

Part 2 of 2

Others pointed out the irony if the boos really did come from Eagles fans, given Swift’s ties to the team.

“If it’s Eagles fans booing, she’s from the Philly area and was a lifelong Eagles fan…” one person noted. Swift’s father, Scott, is well-known for being a huge Eagles supporter.

Engagement Rumors and Kelce’s Super Bowl Moment

Beyond the game itself, rumors have been swirling about whether Travis Kelce is planning to propose to Swift.

This year’s Super Bowl has drawn attention far beyond the usual football fanbase, thanks in large part to Kelce and his relationship with the global pop star.

Some fans were disappointed when Kelce didn’t attend the Grammys, where Swift was seen celebrating with celebrity friends and even presenting Beyoncé with the award for Best Country Album. While Kelce is often by her side at high-profile events, he had already made it clear that his NFL commitments would keep him from attending.

Now, as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, speculation is growing about whether Kelce might take the opportunity to propose—especially if his team secures a historic third consecutive Super Bowl victory.

The question was even put to him during the Super Bowl’s opening night media event.

“A Super Bowl ring?” he asked in response before quickly shutting down the topic with a blunt “Next question.”

Kelce also addressed speculation about his potential retirement, admitting that it had crossed his mind.

“I’ve thought about it, but I still love what I do,” he told reporters. “I love coming into work every day.

“It’s moments like these, weeks like these, the month that we just had in the playoffs that make me feel like I could play this game forever.

“I feel like I still have a lot of good football left in me. We’ll see what happens. I know I’ve been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life. That’s always been the goal knowing football only lasts for so long.”

When asked where he sees himself in three years, Kelce replied: “Hopefully still playing football. I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football.”

Whether “still playing football” includes being a married man remains to be seen.
