Grimes took to Twitter in a series of now-deleted posts, urging Elon Musk to “respond” to an urgent medical situation involving one of their children.
The singer, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, and Musk share three children—X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus—from their relationship, which lasted from around 2018 to 2022.
Since their split, Grimes has gradually distanced herself from the Tesla CEO. She recently spoke out against Musk bringing their four-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii—known as Little X—to the White House and allowing him to appear on live television.
Little X was seen in the background at the Oval Office as Musk, serving as head of the U.S. President’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), attended the signing of an executive order.
Grimes only learned about her son’s televised appearance after a Twitter user complimented the child’s behavior. Responding to the post, she wrote, “He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”

This wasn’t the first time Musk had brought Little X into the public eye. He had previously taken him on stage at a rally and included him in an interview with right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson.
