Royal Insider has reached out to both Buckingham Palace and David Beckham’s representative for comment. When asked if the royals had sent David a birthday gift, a palace spokesperson declined to comment to The Sun.
David Beckham tipped to receive knighthood
A body language expert has offered insights into the bond between King Charles and David Beckham, suggesting the football icon might be in line for a knighthood.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren Stanton said: “We’re seeing David appear more and more at royal events – it’s clear Charles really respects him and the effort he puts into his work.”
Stanton noted that based on the King’s behavior and his interactions with David, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he receives a knighthood this year. There’s a deep level of connection and trust between them.”
He went on to say: “Overall, David has a fantastic friendship with Charles. In particular, Charles seems to feel a strong affinity with David, and he genuinely likes him – and that feeling is clearly mutual.”

Is Prince Harry still friends with David Beckham?
David’s recent appearance at the flower show with the royals comes shortly after reports surfaced that his son Brooklyn, 26, and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, a billionaire heiress, may have sought advice from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid rumors of a family rift.
According to reports, the Sussexes offered their “unwavering support” to Brooklyn and Nicola.
This news follows earlier reports of a once-close relationship between the Sussexes and the Beckhams. David and Victoria Beckham were guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May 2018. At the time, Victoria was also said to have reached out to Meghan to help her adjust after moving to the UK.
However, in July 2023, reports claimed the friendship between the Beckhams and the Sussexes had “died” following reports of stories being leaked to the press. Former Manchester United star David, in particular, reportedly felt fuming over the claims.
