Meghan Markle accused of ‘staging’ her Easter duckling video as fans spot key detail

Part 2 of 2

Someone else added, “That was some of the worst ham acting I’ve seen in a while!”

Another person joked, “OMG using trained ducks how low can this women go.”

One user pointed out, “I wonder how many times the poor little ducklings had to be thrown out of the bushes for a second, third, etc take to make it perfect.”

Someone also noted, “Perfectly dressed in the woods? Give over she never misses a photo op.”

Another sarcastically wrote, “All women wear long white dresses and high heels for walks in the woods don’t they?”

The Daily Mail mentioned that Mallard ducks — the kind shown in the video — are very common in California.

According to the California Waterfowl organization, most mallards in the state are actually born there, meaning that seeing ducklings around Montecito during Easter isn’t all that strange.

Meghan Markle’s busy Easter season

Whether it was a casual moment or something planned, the Easter video came out just as Meghan Markle keeps building her lifestyle brand.

Her company, As Ever, recently sold out its first product line — a big achievement that’s getting a lot of attention.

Behind the scenes, she’s been getting ready for her next launch, working with New York fashion photographer Jake Rosenberg, according to an interview with People.

The two were seen creating new content together, and Rosenberg even posted a casual black-and-white selfie with the duchess.

In the photo, Meghan is smiling brightly with natural makeup, wearing a simple shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and resting her hands lightly on Rosenberg’s shoulders.

Jake shared his excitement, writing, “Always a beautiful day shooting with @Meghan @AsEverOfficial,” suggesting that they’re working on more creative photos to promote her company, which she called “more than a brand, but a love language.”
