The family now lives in Montecito, but Meghan and Harry have become more involved in the LA scene, balancing public events with family life.
This upcoming gala is just one of many high-profile appearances Meghan has made this year, which has been busy professionally for her.
“We are proud to honour Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.”
Besides launching her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder with Lemonada Media and releasing her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, she recently introduced her lifestyle brand As Ever, which sold out its first batch of products in just 45 minutes.
Earlier this year, the duchess also returned to Instagram, where she’s shared snapshots of her California life.
In a recent interview with Fast Company, Meghan hinted that there’s more exciting work ahead.
“My heart is very deeply in my home,” she said. “Everything comes from being rooted in the love story of your home and garden.”
Regarding whether she might launch a fashion line, Meghan didn’t dismiss the idea. “The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date,” she said. “It’s an interesting space for me.”

Meghan Shares the Realities of Running a Business
In a recent bonus episode of her podcast, Meghan opened up about the difficulties that come with managing a business.
During a conversation with Tina Knowles, the well-known matriarch and Cécred vice chairperson who is also Beyoncé’s mother, Meghan agreed that the real test lies in the unseen struggles behind the scenes.
“They see all the flashy stuff, and they see the product,” Meghan said. “But that end game… those behind-the-scenes moments, how many tears I’ve shed.”
