My Parents Brought a Fake Paternity Test Into My Hospital Room and Forced Me to Sign Over All My Shares or They’d Expose the “Secret” About My Baby. I Pretended to Cry and Signed, Letting Them Believe They Had Stolen My Inheritance. But Moments Later, My Baby’s Real Father—a Powerful Billionaire—Walked In, Picked Up the Test, and Said Something That Left Them Speechless…

Part 2 of 3

Others had been approved directly by my father.

When Bennett showed me the records, I felt physically cold.

“Are you certain?” I asked.

“I wouldn’t show this to you if I weren’t.”

That night changed everything.

Why I Didn’t Confront Them

My first instinct was to call my father.

Bennett stopped me.

“If you confront them now, they’ll know exactly what you’ve discovered.”

He was right.

So I waited.

We hired an independent forensic accounting team.

Lydia reviewed the corporate agreements.

Slowly, a pattern emerged.

My father and Spencer had allegedly been shifting company money through questionable contracts for years while telling minority shareholders that profits were shrinking.

And then Lydia found something even more important.

The shareholder agreement contained a clause my father apparently believed nobody remembered.

Any transfer obtained through fraudulent representation could be challenged and potentially voided.

That was when we stopped waiting for them to make a mistake.

We gave them an opportunity to make one.

The pregnancy created the perfect opening.

My parents had always been obsessed with reputation.

All we needed to know was whether they would use my child to pressure me.

They did.

The DNA Report

The report they brought to the hospital looked convincing.

But it had one problem.

The laboratory listed on the document had never processed a sample from Nora.

Lydia confirmed it that same afternoon.

The report wasn’t merely questionable.

It had been manufactured.

Even better, my father had signed the transfer agreement as the receiving party.

My mother had signed as a witness.

And hospital security cameras recorded them entering and leaving my room.

They thought they had taken twelve percent of a company from an exhausted new mother.

Instead, they had handed my attorney exactly what she needed.

Bennett arrived an hour later.

He walked quietly into the room carrying coffee in one hand and a tiny yellow blanket in the other.

When he saw my face, he stopped.

“They did it?”

I nodded.

He sat beside me.

For several seconds, neither of us spoke.

Then I whispered,

“I knew they might. I still hoped they wouldn’t.”

Bennett took my hand.

“Knowing who someone is doesn’t make it painless when they prove you right.”

That sentence stayed with me.

Monday Morning

My father scheduled an emergency board meeting the following Monday.

He thought the meeting was about restructuring ownership after acquiring my shares.

He arrived confident.

Spencer was already there.

My mother waited outside the conference room.

What they didn’t expect was to see me sitting at the far end of the table.

Bennett sat beside me.

Lydia sat on my other side.

My father stopped walking.

“What is this?”

I closed the folder in front of me.

“A board meeting.”

His eyes moved toward Bennett.

“This is a private company matter.”

Bennett calmly adjusted his cuff.

“Not anymore.”

Then Lydia began distributing documents.

Bank transfers.

Vendor records.

Consulting agreements.

Corporate filings.

My brother’s face changed first.

“Dad?”

My father didn’t answer.

The Truth Comes Into the Room

Lydia explained that several transactions required immediate independent review.

She also informed the board that the transfer of my shares was being formally challenged.

My father pushed back from the table.

“She signed voluntarily.”

I had been waiting for those words.

I placed the DNA report in front of him.

“You mean after you showed me this?”

Silence.

One board member picked it up.

Another began reading.

My father’s face went pale.

Lydia then placed a letter from the laboratory beside it.

The laboratory confirmed that it had not produced the report.

My brother stared at my father.

“Where did that come from?”

Nobody answered.

Then Bennett finally spoke.

“Perhaps we should also discuss the payments made to Northline Advisory.”

Spencer froze.

That reaction told the entire room that he recognized the name.

The Empire Begins to Crack

Northline Advisory had received more than $3 million from Winslow Properties over several years.

On paper, it provided strategic consulting.

In reality, investigators found little evidence of meaningful work.

More importantly, corporate records connected Northline to one of Spencer’s longtime business associates.

My father tried to dismiss everything as an accounting misunderstanding.

But the board had heard enough.

An emergency vote was called.

My father was temporarily removed from executive authority pending an independent investigation.

Spencer was suspended from all financial responsibilities.

My mother, who had been waiting outside, entered the room just as the decision was announced.

“Russell, what happened?”

My father stared at me.
