Prince William ‘agrees to accelerate Bring Harry Back campaign’ as Andrew ‘ousting’ has ‘placated’ future king

Prince William is reportedly on board with speeding up plans to bring Prince Harry back into the royal fold. The shift comes at a pivotal moment for the monarchy, following Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor being stripped of his remaining titles and asked to leave the Royal Lodge.

According to a former royal insider speaking to The Mirror US, both King Charles and William have been quietly discussing the possibility of Harry returning in some capacity. The insider, ex-Palace photographer Ian Pelham Turner, claims that the idea is gaining momentum particularly now that Andrew is out of the picture.

He suggests the king’s health has added urgency behind the scenes. “Because of Charles’s cancer diagnosis, negotiations with Harry may have been accelerated,” he said, adding that William appears “placated” by Andrew’s removal and therefore more open to welcoming Harry back. In Turner’s view, two things are happening at once: the move to sideline Andrew, and a renewed effort to repair the fractured relationship with Harry.

The prospect of Harry returning comes as another report claims Kate Middleton has been quietly pushing for a brother-to-brother meeting. According to Heat, the Princess of Wales believes that a private conversation between William and Harry could be the only real way forward after years of tension.

Sources say Kate has been acting as a discreet peacemaker, encouraging Harry to travel to the UK by himself on his next visit—a gesture she believes would show independence and good faith. “She thinks it’s the only way to start rebuilding trust,” the insider shared, noting that Harry has historically been more receptive to Kate than anyone else.

Whether these efforts will lead to a genuine reconciliation remains unclear, but the sudden acceleration of royal decisions suggests a shift within the family one that could pave the way for Harry’s symbolic return.
