Prince William corrects Prince George during blink-and-you-miss-it balcony moment

Part 2 of 2

The Children Continue to Charm

This isn’t the first time George, Charlotte, and Louis have appeared on the palace balcony. Their first shared appearance came in 2019, and they’ve been a much-loved presence ever since.

This year, they arrived in a carriage alongside Princess Kate, traveling from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade. Kate and Charlotte wore coordinated aqua-toned outfits, while George and Louis donned matching suits with red ties.

All three children remained composed throughout the ceremony, with Louis bringing his signature playful energy to the event, drawing affectionate reactions from both parents.

George’s Growing Role

As second in line to the throne, George is gradually becoming more visible in royal duties. His appearances at formal occasions have increased in recent months.

In May, he accompanied his parents to a tea party at Buckingham Palace hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla. The event honored World War II veterans and members of that generation.

Celebrating the Monarch’s Official Birthday

Held annually in June, Trooping the Colour marks the reigning monarch’s official birthday. King Charles, 76, traveled in a carriage with Queen Camilla as part of the grand procession along the Mall.

Other senior royals—including Prince William, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward—rode on horseback. In a shared gesture of remembrance, they wore black armbands in tribute to the victims of the recent Air India tragedy.

A minute of silence was held during the ceremony. More than 1,400 soldiers took part in the parade, which concluded with the traditional flypast viewed from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Queen Camilla wore a white silk crepe dress by Anna Valentine, adorned with silver embroidery. Her hat, a design by Philip Treacy, completed her understated yet regal appearance.
