An insider revealed, “I believe Prince William is on a revenge kick because it seems like he is purposely and consciously appointing people who publicly don’t get along with Meghan to prominent positions.”
Jason Knauf, a longtime royal aide, was recently appointed CEO of the Earthshot Prize, an environmental charity William founded in 2020. Knauf had previously worked as communications secretary for William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan Markle, whom he later accused of bullying and claimed she pushed two staff members to quit with her behavior — allegations Markle has denied.
Earlier this year, after Harry stepped down as patron of Sentebale, a charity he co-founded in Africa 19 years ago following a dispute with chairwoman Dr. Sophie Chanduka, William’s close aide and supporter Iain Rawlinson was named to the charity’s board of trustees.

An insider predicted that William will likely continue his “revenge” by keeping Harry and Meghan at a distance during Charles’s funeral.
The source added that if William does show any mercy toward Harry, he’ll still keep him tightly controlled—and insist that Meghan stay away.
They said, “Harry is like a puppy who follows everything Meghan says. By now, he’s accepted being distant from his family.
“If he attends his father’s funeral, it will come with the condition that Meghan cannot be there.”
William is also expected to enforce strict rules for the ceremony, banning recording devices and unauthorized cameras to protect the family’s privacy and prevent the Sussexes from using the event for media exposure.
According to the source, “They suspect Harry might attend the funeral to profit from it.
“They’re worried information could leak, and everyone knows Harry is the source. They’re scared and anxious even just talking to him.”
