Prince William makes b0mbshell decision on Prince Andrew’s future

Part 2 of 2

In January 2022, Queen Elizabeth II stripped Andrew of his military titles and royal patronages following Giuffre’s sexual assault lawsuit against him. He later settled the case out of court in February 2022 for an undisclosed sum. Giuffre died by suicide earlier this year at age 41.

Andrew’s Decision to Relinquish Titles

Late last week, Andrew announced his decision to give up his royal titles and honors. According to People Magazine, the move came after discussions with senior royals, including Prince William and King Charles.

“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew said in a statement.

“I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.

“With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

William’s Plan to Exclude Andrew from Future Royal Events

According to The Sunday Times, Prince William has already determined how he will handle Andrew’s royal status once he becomes king. Reports suggest that William will permanently exclude Andrew from royal life, barring him from public and private events, state occasions, and even his coronation.

The publication also noted that William’s strict policy will extend to Andrew’s former wife, Sarah Ferguson. The Duchess of York, 66, has recently faced pressure to publicly distance herself from Epstein as well.

However, William’s reported plans do not affect Andrew and Sarah’s daughters. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will continue to be included in royal gatherings and family events, as the future king reportedly does not intend to punish them for their father’s actions.
