Princess Catherine’s bold new plan for life at her ‘forever home’

Part 2 of 2

In May, she launched a web series titled Mother Nature, featuring short films that highlight Britain’s changing seasons and the power of connecting with the outdoors for healing and inspiration.

The first “spring” episode reflected on how time spent in nature supported her through chemotherapy, as she was known to enjoy walking and swimming outdoors during her recovery. The follow-up “summer” installment encouraged viewers to “cherish the bonds of love and friendship.”

Family Values and a Tech-Free Home

Prince William shares his wife’s vision for a grounded, nature-centered family life. Recently, he revealed that their three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — are growing up with firm household rules about screen time.

Appearing on The Reluctant Traveller with comedian Eugene Levy, the Prince explained that the children “do not have phones,” a rule both he and Catherine are “very strict about.”

Instead, the Wales kids are encouraged to play outside and take part in physical activities.

“Louie loves the trampoline — he’s obsessed. And Charlotte loves it too,” William said with a laugh. “As far as I can tell, they just end up jumping up and down, beating each other up most of the time. Apparently, there is an art to it.”

Charlotte reportedly enjoys netball and ballet, while George “loves his football and his hockey.”

With Forest Lodge soon becoming their permanent home, it seems the Wales family is embracing a future defined by simplicity, sustainability, and time spent together — far away from the public glare.
