Prince Louis, the youngest child of Prince William and Princess Catherine, is quickly becoming a crowd favorite, thanks to his playful behavior during public appearances.
Most recently, during the annual military parade marking King Charles’ birthday, the 7-year-old prince caught attention while watching a military jet flypast from a balcony alongside his family.
While the rest of the royals looked skyward, Louis turned his gaze toward the crowds and began enthusiastically waving. His older brother, Prince George—perhaps more aware of royal protocol—gently pulled on Louis’ arm to rein him in.

Social media users quickly picked up on the sweet moment, focusing on the clear difference in demeanor between the two brothers.
“You hardly ever see George waving at a crowd,” one commenter noted. Another added, “We love his carefree happy personality.”
Louis’ habit of waving during official events isn’t new. He first charmed royal watchers with his enthusiastic waves during a 2019 air show.
Another commenter wrote, “Louis is so gorgeous but I think they have their hands full,” prompting a response from someone else: “Louis is the Prince Harry of the family.”
Regardless of the truth in these comparisons, this wasn’t Louis’ only spotlight moment of the day.
As the balcony appearance wrapped up and Kate began guiding the children back inside, Louis turned back for one final, enthusiastic wave to the crowd.
