Markle—who announced she wouldn’t be returning to her role as the paralegal-turned-lawyer just before confirming her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017—was noticeably absent while the rest of her former co-stars reunited.
When one of them was asked about her absence, they didn’t hold back.
Actress Gina Torres, known for playing the sharp and commanding managing partner at the fictional law firm, spoke with reporter Marc Malkin about the Suits cast’s ongoing group chat. She revealed that the cast had been “texting each other” nonstop after being invited to present an award together at the Golden Globes, saying: “Our text thread is insane right now, it’s exciting.”
Malkin then pressed her on whether anyone had reached out to Markle to invite her, and Torres didn’t sugarcoat her response.
“We don’t have her number. We just don’t,” she admitted.
Expanding on the cast’s lack of contact with the Duchess of Sussex, the Firefly star added: “She’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

So, no drama here—it just seems like Markle isn’t keeping her old friends in the loop whenever she changes her number.
Adams, who played her on-screen love interest for nearly seven years, pretty much backed up this theory on his podcast Sidebar.
He shared that since marrying Prince Harry, Markle has taken a very different path in life, and as a result, they don’t really keep in touch anymore.
That said, she did reach out to congratulate him on Sidebar when she found out about his new project, even offering to “help in any way” she could.
The actor described it as “so lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart”—and no doubt, fans of Mike Ross and Rachel Zane will be thrilled to know they still share a bond.
