Collins, no stranger to Trump’s verbal jabs, has frequently been on the receiving end of his criticisms due to her tough questioning.

Just last month, she confronted Trump about his claims that DEI policies played a role in the DC plane crash.

“Does it comfort [the victims’] family to hear you blaming DEI policies?” Collins asked, seemingly trying to corner him.

Trump didn’t hesitate. “I think that’s not a very smart question,” he shot back before adding, “I’m surprised, coming from you.”
