Just dissolve three tablespoons of salt in 8 litres of water, adding a few drops of liquid soap to it.
Soak your feet in the solution for about 10 to 15 minutes before nourishing them with moisturiser.
Salt is also used for its cosmetic virtues. It can be added to the bath to relieve fatigue or restore skin tone and elasticity. Mixing salt with shower gel or liquid soap makes an excellent body scrub that removes dead skin.
Salt is effective in removing blackening from silver and copper products. Dissolve a few tablespoons of salt in warm water and immerse your object to be cleaned in this solution, dark spots will disappear in hours and your cutlery will shine!
If you use the oven often, you will have noticed that it retains the smell of cooked food for quite some time. You can get rid of this smell permanently by simply using salt.
Sprinkle a handful of salt on your plate, add some cinnamon before turning on the appliance for a few minutes.
