Jessy asked David to take Benji to the veterinarian to make sure nothing was wrong. They needed to know if there was something wrong with the baby or if Benji felt threatened. The vet couldn’t find anything physically wrong with Benji. He suggested that Benji might be sensing something about the baby and advised them to get Jessy checked at the hospital.
Jessy called her friend Anne, who had been helping her during the pregnancy, to take her to the hospital. The doctor did extensive tests but found nothing wrong with Jessy or the baby. The answers they were looking for remained elusive.
Back home, Jessy came up with a brilliant idea: installing cameras to keep an eye on Benji and Lily. They could also monitor Anne during the day. Surprisingly, Anne seemed reluctant for the cameras to be installed, which raised suspicions.
When David reviewed the footage, he noticed Benji’s overprotective behavior towards Lily. But it was what he discovered in the night recordings that sent shivers down his spine. Something or someone was entering through the window. He had to call the police before things got out of control.
The police arrived, and Jessy was shown the footage. It was a shocking revelation. One of the officers asked for more information about Anne, and it turned out she had fabricated her entire identity. She was actually an international spy named Elizabeth Holmes. David’s role in national security had made him a target for leaking secrets. Benji had sensed something was off about Anne, and her protective nature towards Lily had been justified.
The police discovered a hidden stash of money, jewelry, and passports in a secret compartment behind a wall. Elizabeth Holmes had tried to escape the country but was caught by the police. She confessed to everything. Benji had saved the day.
Benji and Lily grew up as best friends, and Lily eventually learned the whole story from her parents. Benji never stopped looking out for Lily. David and Jessy became more cautious about letting people into their lives, knowing they had Benji to watch over them.
