Homeless cats surely don’t have an easy life, especially during winter when the temperatures drop below zero. They have to fend for themselves with zero to no food at all.

That’s exactly why some desperate homeless cats start seeking help from humans, just like this freezing ginger cat did one frosty evening.

It all happened when a woman was startled by a weird sound at her front door, as though someone was scratching at it. Upon investigating who was making the sound, she was surprised to see an elderly ginger cat shivering on her doorstep.

A compassionate woman did not have the heart to ignore the poor creature, so she instantly welcomed the furry boy into her warm home.

She noticed that the cat desperately needed warmth, food, and medical attention, so she immediately sprang into action.

The woman fed the cat and reached out to an animal rescue organization, One Cat At A Time, to see if they could help the cat.

The rescue gladly offered help, and the woman immediately brought the cat to them. Upon their arrival, the cat received a thorough examination, where it was discovered that the cat was an adult who had been on the street for many years.

The poor cat was so exhausted that he was ready to finally trade the harsh street life for a warm home where he could spend his golden years.
