Joyce Allston once said “grandparents, like heroes, are as necessary to a child’s growth as vitamins”, and we can’t agree more.
These people are “the best kind of grownups” because of endless reasons. They are a bit parents, a bit teachers, and a bit friends, and those who got to grow up by their side are the luckiest among us.
In fact, whatever we say about grandparents won’t be enough to describe their importance in the life of their grandchildren.
A young woman named Clem shared an extraordinary story about her beloved grandma.
Namely, when she turned six or seven, her grandma gave her a plastic sheep as a present. It was a nice toy that Clem loved.

On every birthday that followed, Clem would receive another plastic sheep from her granny, and although she couldn’t understand why the sweet old lady gave her plastic sheep each year, it turned into a nice tradition and Clem was more than happy to get yet another toy she would keep as her grandma asked her to.
