Before becoming the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump had an interesting journey. She began studying architecture at the University of Ljubljana but left after one year to focus on her modeling career in major fashion cities like Milan and Paris. During her modeling career, she appeared in prestigious magazines such as VogueHarper’s BazaarVanity Fair, and Sports Illustrated.

An interesting fact is that Melania is one of the tallest First Ladies in U.S. history, standing at 5 feet 11 inches (180 cm), sharing this title with Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Obama. She is also only the second Catholic First Lady in American history, after Jacqueline Kennedy.

Another rare fact is that Melania delayed moving into the White House for five months after Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017, staying in New York until their son, Barron, finished fifth grade.

In 2025, Melania launched her own cryptocurrency called $Melania, entering the world of digital currency—a move that attracted significant media attention.

Before marrying Donald Trump in 2005, Melania had a successful modeling career that made her well-known in many European and American markets.
